Deputies have released the names of two Hopkinsville men injured in a wreck on Madisonville Road, near the intersection of Old Madisonville Road Tuesday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say an SUV driven by Brian Frances was northbound when it crossed into the opposite lane and struck a truck driven by Robert Pollard as he turned into his driveway.
The crash reportedly caused the SUV to run off the road and overturn coming to a rest on its top.
The drivers of both vehicles were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for injuries. Pollard was later flown to a Nashville hospital for internal bleeding and several broken bones.
Deputies say they could smell alcohol on Frances and he refused to consent to a blood test.
The crash happened just after 8 p.m.
