Trigg Tops 400 COVID Cases, See Active Case High

Trigg County’s COVID-19 case total has surpassed 400 with the number of active cases reaching a new high since the pandemic began.

The Pennyrile District Health Department reported 12 new cases in Trigg County Monday with the people infected ranging in age from 14 to 82. Four of the 12 were teenagers. All of the cases were isolated at home.

The health department reported 63 active cases in Trigg County Friday, which is 10 more than the previous week and 26 more than was reported on Nov. 13.

The five-county health department also reported 17 new cases in Caldwell County, 16 in Livingston County, 9 in Crittenden County, and four in Lyon County. Only one of the 58 new cases reported required hospitalization.
