A Hopkinsville woman was charged Thursday in connection to a September burglary.
Hopkinsville Police say 35-year-old Tambra Wells broke into a home and took a diamond engagement ring and a Smith & Wesson pistol.
She reportedly admitted in a text message to taking the gun and returned it by leaving it in a mailbox.
Wells was charged with second-degree burglary.
