Five New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed In Trigg County Friday

The Pennyrile District Health Department reported five new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Trigg County Friday, including an 83-year old female who is hospitalized.

According to the health department’s report, the other cases include one male and three females and range in age from 21 to 83-years old. All these cases are isolated at home.

Currently, there are 37 active cases in the county. Of those, 35 are recovering at home and two are in the hospital.

A total of 312 COVID cases have been confirmed in the county since the pandemic began earlier this year and 123 have recovered.

There has been one death in the county related to the virus.
