The Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce will host ribbon-cutting ceremonies for three new businesses in Eddyville this week.

Deb Domke, Executive Director of the Lake Barkley Chamber says the first ribbon cutting will be at 10:30 Wednesday morning at Love, Olivia, owned and operated by Ashlyn Rogers. She says the boutique is located at 326 Outlet Avenue in the Eddyville Mall and features ladies and children’s apparel, locally made gifts, candles, and more.

According to Domke, the second ribbon cutting will be Friday afternoon at 4:00 at The Town’s Mercantile located at 143 West Main Street in Eddyville. She says the owner, Jenni Frank is continuing her family tradition of Town’s Grocery, which features home decor from here and abroad, gifts and hospitality merchandise for entertaining.

The third ribbon cutting will also be held Friday at noon and will also kick off the grand opening weekend at the House to Home, located at 6226 US Highway 62 East in Eddyville. Domke says the owner, Meghan Nelson, along with Stefanie Cavins are bringing furniture, accessories, artwork, and more to the Eddyville area.

Domke says they are excited that their small business community is growing in Eddyville and the surrounding communities. She adds the entrepreneurial spirit of all three of these women-owned businesses is indeed something to be celebrated.
