Motorists who travel Interstate 69 in Caldwell County need to be aware of northbound lane restrictions to allow some work along the shoulder.
Keirsten Jaggers, District 2 spokeswoman with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, says the restrictions are necessary for shoulder work. She adds preliminary work started Monday and will continue through Wednesday that entails the removal of large boulders.
According to Jaggers, a contractor will begin addressing shoulder work on Thursday between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. She says the northbound work is between mile markers 84 to 85.
The improvements are scheduled to be completed on Wednesday, November 18, weather permitting.
