Police have released the name of a woman and child injured in a crash on Fort Campbell Boulevard Friday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say an SUV driven by 28-year-old Brittany Novotny, of Clarksville, was exiting the Hobby Lobby parking lot and pulled into the path of a southbound car driven by 25-year-old Jimmie Hall III, of Hopkinsville. The crash caused the SUV to overturn and the car to run off the road and into a ditch.
Novotny and her passenger 5-year-old Carter Novotny were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened just before 10 am.
