A Hopkinsville woman was charged Thursday after she reportedly used stolen checks to take money from someone’s account.
Hopkinsville Police say 34-year-old Tiffany Hart stole five checks then forged the owner of the accounts name and wrote the checks to herself on July 14th.
Over $500 was reportedly taken. Hart is charged with theft of identity, second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, third-degree forgery, and theft by unlawful taking.
