Two Charged In Connection To Christian County Shooting

A man and woman were charged Thursday morning in connection to a July 12th shooting that led to the death of a Guthrie man in Christian County.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 26-year-old Leshea Stevenson and 27-year-old Terry McGee who were wanted in connection to a shooting that led to the death of 23-year-old Kelvin Garrett turned themselves into law enforcement.

Garrett was found shot on Forest Park Court and was rushed to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance with CPR in progress but later died of his injuries.

Stevenson and McGee are charged with first-degree robbery. McGee was also charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, tampering with physical evidence, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
