Eight new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Caldwell County Wednesday afternoon.
Judge-Executive Larry Curling says all of the cases are isolated at home and involve seven males, including a one-year old boy, and a 60-year old female. The other males infected with the virus range in age from 22 to 42 years old.
To date, 269 COVID cases have been confirmed in Caldwell County since the pandemic began earlier this year.
