Pennyrile, Todd County Tuesday COVID-19 Update

The Pennyrile District Health Department announced Tuesday evening nine new COVID-19 cases in Caldwell, Lyon, and Trigg counties.

In Caldwell County, seven new cases were confirmed and included five females and two males that range in age from 18 to 69-years of age. All of the new cases are isolated at home, and the county has reported 261 total cases.

Lyon and Trigg counties reported one new case each. In Lyon County, a 46-year-old male is the latest case; he is isolated at home and is the county’s 110th total case. In Trigg County, a 70-year-old male who is isolated at home is the latest case. The county has reported 250 total cases.

In Todd County, health department spokeswoman Jen Harris said there were two new cases Tuesday evening. One case involves a healthy minor, the other a healthy adult. Both are connected to other cases and experiencing no symptoms. Harris added the county had reported 296 total cases, 258 recoveries, 26 active cases, and 12 deaths since the pandemic began.
