A burglary investigation led to a search warrant at a Trigg County home and the arrest of a Cadiz man Sunday.
Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputies say during an investigation of a burglary at Prizer Point Marina they found stolen tools, yard equipment, firearms, and construction materials at a South Road home.
The owner of the home 43-year-old Alvis Finley was arrested and charged with animal cruelty, criminal mischief, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, possession of burglary tools, and possession of a controlled substance.
A dog at the home was reportedly found to be chained up out back with no food or water and appeared to be in poor health.
