Police have released the name of a Hopkinsville woman injured in a wreck on Lafayette Road Monday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 25-year-old Sarah Trout was northbound when for an unknown reason her car ran off the road hitting a street sign and overturning several times before coming to a rest on its top in a ditch.
Trout was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say Trout told law enforcement she was not the driver but witnesses advised she was the driver of the vehicle.
The crash happened just after 11 pm near the intersection of Eagle Way.
