A contractor will begin lane closures along Eagle Way Bypass in Christian County Saturday.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Post Two spokeswoman Kiersten Jaggers said the closures allow for preliminary work to begin in resurfacing efforts. The section of highway to be addressed is from U.S. 68/Kentucky 80 extending east to Kentucky 107, a distance of over 5 miles.
Jaggers added beginning Monday, the contractor will address milling work and begin resurfacing Tuesday.
Jaggers said motorists can expect delays and should be prepared to reduce their speed. Weather permitting, the project is scheduled for completion by the end of October.
