American Legion Post 68 in Kuttawa Raffling Quilt to Help Struggling Veterans

A local American Legion Post is hosting a raffle to raise funds to help struggling veterans throughout the area.

According to a post on social media American Legion Post 68 in Kuttawa is raffling off a custom made “Live Free” quilt to raise funds for the Pennyrile Center for Homeless Veterans in Hopkinsville and the American Legion’s PTSD Service Dog Program. The post indicates the quilt, which is 57 by 75 inches and has provisions to make it a wall hanging or for use on a bed, will be on display in various locations throughout Kuttawa.

Tickets are $5 each or $25 for six and are available at each location the quilt will be displayed or by mail, with the drawing to be held December 12th. Those who live out of town but would like to purchase tickets through the mail can send a self addressed envelope and phone number to American Legion Post 68 and tickets will be mailed back. If someone who purchased tickets by mail wins, Post 68 will ship the quilt.
