Traffic Stop in Crofton Leads To Drug Charges

A traffic stop for a loud muffler on East Princeton Street in Crofton led to drug charges Wednesday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 36-year-old Krista Gamble was stopped for a loud muffler by Deputy Charlie Fiscella and during the stop, deputies could smell marijuana in the vehicle.
A K9 reportedly alerted on the vehicle and deputies found 11 grams of meth, a 9 mm handgun, 4 pills of suspected Ecstasy, marijuana, a digital scale, and $1,300 in cash.
She is charged with trafficking meth, possession of marijuana, and possession of a controlled substance.
