Todd County Reports Three More Positive COVID Cases Tuesday

After a record number of single-day new COVID-19 cases were reported Monday in Todd County, the health department confirmed an additional three positive coronavirus cases Tuesday.

Jen Harris, the director at the county’s health department, said the three cases are all isolated at home and involve healthy adults who are exhibiting mild to moderate symptoms. She noted one of the adults has resolved symptoms and is not connected to any other COVID cases, while the other two adults have been linked to others infected with the virus.

To date, a total of 252 COVID cases have been confirmed in Todd County. Of those, 198 have recovered, 39 are healing at home, four are hospitalized and there have been eleven deaths. Three of those deaths were reported by the health department Monday.

Harris reports the county’s recovery rate is 78%.
