United States Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says he is ready to move forward with confirming the appointment of Amy Comey Barrett to the United States Supreme Court.
During a conversation with the News Edge, the Majority Leader said President Trump made an excellent choice to fill the Supreme Court seat vacated by the death of Ruth Bader-Ginsburg.
Senator McConnell says he feels moving forward the confirmation is the right choice for the United States Senate.
He adds the process will begin next week.
Leader McConnell also discussed COVID-19, the race toward a vaccine, the possibility of another coronavirus stimulus package, and support for law enforcement during the News Edge conversation.
