Four New COVID Cases Confirmed Over The Weekend In Todd County

Four new positive coronavirus cases were confirmed in Todd County over the weekend.

Jen Harris, director of the county’s health department, reported one new COVID case linked to a church setting was confirmed Saturday. She said the adult with underlying health conditions is isolated at home with moderate symptoms.

In addition, Harris reported three new positive cases were confirmed Sunday involving two healthy adults who are isolated at home with mild to moderate symptoms. She said the third case was an adult with underlying health conditions also isolated at home with mild symptoms. She added this case was connected to a church setting and unmasked.

To date, 205 COVID cases have been confirmed in Todd County with 172 recoveries. Harris indicates twenty are healing at home, five are hospitalized and there have been eight deaths related to the virus.

Harris reports the county’s recovery rate is 84%.
