Cerulean Home Damaged In Early Morning Fire

A fire on Princeton Road in Christian County damaged a Cerulean home Saturday morning.

Cerulean Firefighters say smoke and flames were coming from the back of the structure when they arrived.
A passerby reportedly alerted the man inside the home and he was able to get out before firefighters arrived.
Firefighters say the fire started in the back of the home and caused heavy fire and smoke damage to the rest of the structure.
An ambulance was called to check out the man but he was not transported to the hospital.
The fire was reported to emergency personnel just after midnight and the home is located at 13998 Princeton Road.
The cause of the fire was unknown.
