After no new cases were reported the first two days of this week, the Todd County Health Department announced three new positive coronavirus cases were confirmed Wednesday.
According to Director Jen Harris, two of the new cases are adults with underlying health conditions. One of the cases is hospitalized with moderate to severe symptoms, while the other case is isolated at home with moderate symptoms. She indicates both adults are connected to other cases infected with the virus.
Harris says the other new positive COVID case is a healthy adult who is isolated at home with moderate to severe symptoms and is not linked to other cases.
To date, 192 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Todd county. Of that number, 169 have recovered, 34 are healing at home, one is hospitalized, and the county has recorded eight deaths related to the virus.
Harris reports the county’s recovery rate is 88%.
