Caldwell County Announces Two New COVID-19 Cases

Caldwell County has reported two new coronavirus cases.

Judge-Executive Larry Curling confirmed Wednesday afternoon the county’s 160th to 161st cases since the pandemic began in mid-March. He added the cases involve an 83-year-old female and a 37-year-old female, who are both isolated at home.

The cases follow nine announced Monday and four announced Tuesday.

The Pennyrile District Health Department is expected to release updated active case information and recoveries for the five county district, which includes Caldwell County, on Friday.
