Deputies have released the name of a Hopkinsville woman injured in a wreck on Pembroke Road in Christian County Wednesday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 61-year-old Vickie Thompson was southbound on Pembroke Road when her car ran off the road as she attempted to avoid another vehicle that pulled out in front of her. Thompson’s car traveled through a ditch coming to a rest in the Bar-B-Q Shack parking lot.
Thompson was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for back pain.
The crash happened just before 2 p.m.
