Caldwell County Reporting Two New COVID-19 Cases Friday

Caldwell County has reported two new coronavirus cases.

Judge-Executive Larry Curling confirmed Friday afternoon the county’s 145th and 146th cases since the first case was announced March 31st. He added the cases involve an 83-year-old male and a 77-year-old female who are isolated at home.

The cases join two announced on both Thursday and Wednesday, four announced Tuesday, and nine announced Monday and follow 32 announced last week.

The Pennyrile District Health Department states Caldwell County currently has 27 active cases, 24 of which are isolated at home with three hospitalized. The county’s remaining 119 cases have recovered.
