Christian County Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrest

A traffic stop on Interstate 24 in Christian County led to drugs and the arrest of a Missouri man Tuesday morning.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 30-year-old Bryant Wynn was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped by Deputy Clevin Robinson for traffic violations near the Gracey Herndon Road exit.

During the stop, Robinson could reportedly smell marijuana and after a search of the vehicle, a gun, cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, and money were found inside a backpack.

Wynn allegedly claimed ownership of the bag and was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana, and two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.
