United Way Kicks Off Campaign At Trail Of Tears Park Wednesday

The United Way of the Pennyrile kicked off its annual fundraising campaign with a drive-thru breakfast at the Trail of Tears Park in Hopkinsville Wednesday morning.

People that drove through the park and were able to pick up breakfast from Chick-fil-A Hopkinsville, Four Seasons Catering, and Hancock’s Neighborhood Market. Everyone who drove through was able to tune into an FM signal, which former Hopkinsville mayor and attorney Dan Kemp says featured the history of the United Way dating back to 1946.
