Volunteers with the Christ Tabernacle Food Pantry are reminding the community of a free produce giveaway that will be held later this week.
Director Missie Gill states the produce giveaway will be held Friday, September 25th, from 8 until 11AM at the Food Pantry, which is located behind Christ Tabernacle Church at 1839 US Highway 62 West in Princeton. She adds produce will include onions, carrots, potatoes, a head of cabbage, and a watermelon and will be available first come, first serve.
Gill notes the produce giveaway, which is being facilitated through Anthem, is open to all in the community, you do not have to be a regular visitor to the food pantry or a Caldwell County resident, and no information will be required to receive produce.
