Two women were flown hospitals after a two-vehicle wreck in Calloway County Tuesday morning.
According to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Department, a preliminary investigation indicates 72-year old Karen Paul of Murray was eastbound on Highway 94 approaching Clayton Drive when, for an unknown reason, she crossed into the other lane and collided with a westbound vehicle driven by 78-year old Clara Thomas of Cadiz.
Deputies said both women had to be extricated from their vehicles.
The sheriff’s office reports both Paul and Thomas were then transported to Murray-Calloway County Hospital and later flown to trauma centers for treatment of injuries.
