Eight new COVID-19 cases were confirmed Friday afternoon in Christian County.
Health department spokeswoman Amanda Sweeney says there is now a total of 1,015 cases, with 235 active, which is the same from Thursday. Sweeney adds the number of recoveries has increased by 8 to 766. To date, there have been fourteen deaths related to the virus in Christian County.
