Kentucky Launches Eviction Relief Fund

Governor Andy Beshear announced the launch of the Healthy at Home Eviction Relief Fund website Tuesday and says applications are now being accepted for the program.

Beshear adds the program is intended to provide some relief to tenants and landlords.

He adds there have already been over 800 Kentuckians who have started the process of applying for funds.

Beshear notes that both parties have to be involved in the application process.

The funding for the program comes from the federal CARES Act, which provided $15 million to help those at risk for eviction.
