Names Released In Fatal Pennyrile Parkway Motorcycle Crash

Deputies have released the name of a Texas man killed in a wreck on Pennyrile Parkway Thursday afternoon.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a motorcycle driven by 42-year-old Angus Morris, of Harker, Texas, was northbound near the Pembroke Road exit, when he hit the guardrail, ejecting him and his passenger 20-year-old Makayla Morales, of Clarksville.

The motorcycle then traveled a quarter of a mile before hitting a guardrail and stopping in the median. Morris and Morales went over the guardrail landing in a field next to the northbound on-ramp.

Morris was pronounced dead at the scene and Morales was taken by helicopter to a Nashville hospital with what were termed severe injuries.

The crash happened just after 4 pm. Deputies say speed was a factor in the crash.
