The Todd County Health Department reported the county’s seventh death due to COVID-19 and three new positive cases Monday.
Director Jen Harris confirmed the death and said their thoughts and prayers are with the family. She did not release any other information about the person who passed away from the virus.
She said the other three cases involve healthy adults who are all isolated at home with mild symptoms. She added none of these cases are linked to any of the other people infected with the virus.
As of Monday, there were a total of 148 confirmed COVID cases since March. Of that number, 98 have recovered, 39 are healing at home, and four are hospitalized.
Todd County reported its first death related to the covonavirus on August 7 with the other six occurring in the same month.
