Trigg Middle and High Schools Ready for Students Monday

The principals at Trigg County Middle and High schools have announced the way virtual classes will run through Monday, September 28.

Trigg County Middle School Principal Amy Breckel tells the News Edge student synergy mentors are reaching out to every child to discuss how classes will work.

Breckel says each day, except for Wednesday, students will attend half of their classes.

She adds every Thursday will follow Monday’s schedule and every Friday will follow Tuesday’s schedule. Breckel says there will be some flexibility when it comes to completing school work.

Trigg County High School Principal Shannon Burcham says they are bringing in students to help them make the transition to virtual classes.

He adds they hope to bring in every student at some point each work to allow them a chance to submit virtual work and download more lessons.

Burcham says to make things a little easier they have reduced the amount of classes students will have to take.

Both principals hope in-person classes can resume by the end of September. During this time, both ask that students and parents be patient as everyone learns about virtual learning together.
