A Crofton woman was charged after a report of a hysterical female on North Drive in Hopkinsville Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 36-year-old Amber Burr was found in the area of Taco Bell and was claiming she had been chained up in a basement for two weeks. Burr reportedly had no injuries consistent with her story, and she was found to have opiates in a makeup container in her belongings.
She is charged with public intoxication and possession of opiates.
