Deputies have located the driver that hit and killed a bicyclist on North Madisonville Street in Crofton Wednesday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 20-year-old Jared Yoder was northbound on his bike when he was hit by a truck. The driver then fled the area.
The sheriff’s office reports the driver and the truck were located Wednesday afternoon. Deputies have not released the driver’s name or any information on possible charges.
Yoder was pronounced dead at the scene by the Christian County Coroner’s Office.
The crash happened just before 6 a.m. about a mile north of the Kentucky 800 intersection.
