A Hopkinsville man wanted for murder turned himself in to police Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 20-year-old Tyresse Hollowell was wanted in connection to the shooting death of 39-year-old Tiffany Hinton Gray, of Hopkinsville. He is also accused of shooting 17-year-old Kanina Willingham who suffered extensive injuries.
Hollowell is charged with murder and a juvenile was also arrested on a warrant for possession of a handgun by a minor in connection to the shooting.
Police say they were called for a report of shots fired just before 2 am and found Gray who had been shot and was unresponsive in the roadway. Willingham was taken to the hospital by private vehicle before police arrived. Gray was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center where police say she later died.
Willingham was flown to a Nashville hospital, where the extent of her injuries remains unknown.
