Christian County Health Department officials are reporting six new COVID-19 cases Thursday.
Spokeswoman Amanda Sweeney says the county now has 166 active cases and a total case count of 613. Of the active cases, 82 are among adults between the ages of 22 and 59, 40 for adults between the age of 60 and 84, and 38 for those 21 or younger. Six people over the age of 85 are among the active cases, as well.
Officials confirmed Christian County’s 7th COVID-19-related death Thursday morning. They say the 93-year old Caucasian male had underlying health conditions.
