A wreck on Pennyrile Parkway in Christian County sent a woman and child to the hospital Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies say a man was northbound in his truck when he hit a car in front of him that was slowing down for something in the roadway.
The driver and passenger in the car were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for what deputies say are minor injuries.
The crash happened just after 2 pm three miles north of the Kentucky 1682 exit.
Law enforcement was assisted by Highland Fire Department and Christian County EMS.
