After a short lapse, Caldwell County has two new positive coronavirus cases.
Judge-Executive Larry Curling confirmed Wednesday morning the county’s 46th and 47th cases. He added the cases involve a 93-year-old female and 72-year-old male who are both isolated at home.
This is the first time since Sunday new cases have been reported in the county. Two individuals remain hospitalized due to the virus and officials say at least 18 have recovered thus far.
