The Trigg County Sheriff’s Department is down an employee after the resignation of Deputy Jimmy Godair.
Trigg County Judge Executive Hollis Alexander confirmed the news during Monday evening’s fiscal court meeting. Alexander did not give a reason as to why Godair stepped down but did say the court may talk about the department during their August 3 meeting.
The news was shared after magistrate Mike Wright questioned why there hasn’t been anyone from the department attending meetings this month.
