Alpha Pregnancy Care Center is kicking off a two-week giving campaign and is seeking community support to continue providing services they offer to women throughout the region.
Executive Director Amanda Westerfield says the campaign is taking the place of their annual dinner which cannot occur due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Donations can be made here or by sending it to P.O. Box 370, Hopkinsville, KY 42241. Westerfield adds they help many women in the area with pregnancy-related services.
She says they want to be there to be by the side of anyone who has questions. Many of the people that come to them have more issues than just pregnancy.
Alpha offers many programs, that include helping women make the right decision for their pregnancy; parental classes; and they even give away baby items to families in need. A new program that launched last year with Christian County High School, helps teen moms.
Westerfield spoke to the Hopkinsville Kiwanis Club during their weekly meeting Thursday afternoon.
