A Nebraska woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 24 in Caldwell County Tuesday. Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Kirk states he responded to reports of a two-vehicle accident with possible injuries between the 55 and 56 mile marker on I-24 around 4PM. He adds preliminary investigation revealed 21-year-old Maxxie Clarke, of North Platte, Nebraska, was traveling southbound when she came upon slowing traffic in the construction zone. Clarke was unable to slow her vehicle in time and collided with the rear end of a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Drake Oliver, of Gracey.

Deputy Kirk reports Clarke was transported to Lourdes Hospital in Paducah by Caldwell County EMS for treatment of possible leg injuries.
