The Pennyroyal Arts Council is hosting their annual fund drive this month to support the Alhambra Theatre and its community programs.
Executive Director Margaret Prim says the fund drive is more important now than ever.
She adds they have done what they could to cut expenses while keeping the theatre open.
They will be hosting a showing of Downton Abbey on the big screen next Thursday. Prim says they expect the movie to be popular.
Prim notes they are also working on programs for kids in the event they will not be able to attend field trips at the theatre.
