Princeton Teen Flown From Scene of Wreck

A teenager was flown from the scene of a one-vehicle accident Thursday morning in Caldwell County.

Caldwell County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Chris Noel reports around 8:43 deputies received information of a one-vehicle collision with injuries in the area of Kentucky Highway 672 around the 11-mile marker. He adds preliminary investigation revealed a red Mazda passenger car, driven by 17-year-old Alexis Wynn of Princeton, for unknown reasons veered off the shoulder of the roadway, over-corrected, and went down an embankment. The vehicle then overturned multiple times before coming to a rest on its wheels.

Chief Deputy Noel notes initial information is that the collision actually happened sometime prior to midnight late Wednesday night. He states a motorist drove by early Thursday morning and observed the vehicle approximately 30 yards from the roadway and called 911.

Wynn was transported from the scene by Air Evac to Saint Vincent Hospital in Evansville with unknown injuries.

Assisting Chief Deputy Noel on the scene was Caldwell County Sheriff Stan Hudson, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputy Steve Ladd, Princeton Fire and Rescue, and Caldwell County EMS.
