A Hopkinsville man was charged with receiving stolen property after he was reportedly found with a stolen gun Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a truck on East 9th Street for not having a turn signal or trailer lights and during the stop, police could reportedly smell marijuana.
During a search of the vehicle, the passenger 29-year-old Darrell Majors told police he had a handgun in the truck.
The gun was reported stolen out of Louisville. He was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property.
