Trigg Fiscal Court to Apply for Grant for Area Animal Shelter

Trigg County Fiscal Court will apply for a grant with Christian and Todd counties involving spay and neutering for pets after action during a special called, virtual meeting Friday morning.

Judge-Executive Hollis Alexander says the $2,500 grant was brought to his attention by the Pennyrile Area Development District office.

He adds the county must provide a $2,500 match if the grant is awarded to the Christian County Animal Shelter.

Magistrates also approved the final payment for the transportation museum.

The museum will be housed in the former Cadiz Masonic Lodge behind the Trigg County Justice Center. There has been no word on when the museum will open to the public.
