Cadiz City Council approved a resolution to apply for road aid funding through the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet during a special called meeting Friday morning.
Mayor Todd King told council members this is for the next fiscal year, which starts in a few days.
The resolution was approved unanimously by the council. King said he is unsure how much funding the city will receive or what roads will be paved.
