The Christian County Coroner’s Office has released the names of two men killed in a wreck on Interstate 24 in front of the Kentucky Welcome Center Friday morning.
Kentucky State Police say a box truck driven by 47-year-old Johnny Clark of Joelton, Tennessee, was eastbound when for an unknown reason his vehicle crossed the median and traveled into the westbound lanes.
22-year-old Dalton Dodd of Clarksville was westbound in a car and changed lanes to avoid hitting Johnny Clark and sideswiped a tractor-trailer driven by 63-year-old Jeffery Clark of Hartford, Illinois.
Johnny Clark’s vehicle then hit Jeffery Clark’s truck head-on.
Both trucks caught fire after the crash and the drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. Dodd was not injured in the wreck.
The wreck happened just after 8 am in Christian County.
