The Todd County Health Department is reporting a new positive coronavirus case was confirmed in the county Monday.
Director Jen Harris says the healthy adult is not connected to any previous confirmed COVID-19 cases and is isolated at home with no symptoms. She says the adult has multiple contacts, mainly family members and the health department is in the process of notifying them.
There are a total of five active cases in Todd County with the last confirmed positive case reported over a week ago on June 12th.
According to the health department, the county has had a total of 29 coronavirus cases since the outbreak began. Of that number, 24 cases have recovered.
