The Trigg County Conservation District will be hosting Tire Amnesty days toward the end of the week.
Jesse Thomas with the Trigg County Recycling Center says it will be open for Trigg County residents only and no retailers will be allowed to drop off tires.
Tires will be accepted on and off the rims. Foam-filled, off-road equipment or solid tires with pressed on rims will not be allowed.
The tires will be collected Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Trigg County Road Department directly behind the Jesse Thomas Recycling Center at 2759 Hopkinsville Road. For more information, call Thomas at (270) 522-8459.
